What I listen to on repeat
Agust D 'Haegeum'
or his beautiful collab with Woosung ('Snooze') when I want to feel I have a heart or AMYGDALA, if I've got demons to process.
BTS's 'Arirang' album
This is one of my favorites. But, depending on the day, I might be more into "Hooligan", "NORMAL" or "Aliens". I can't decide on an absolute favorite on this album - they're all so good. Even No. 29.
Other discoveries
Like Iniko's "Jericho".
What I'm reading
Lots of phyto-something or other (I'm now done with the schooling and exams, but the field is just soooo rich), but also some fiction. I’m currently on a Dune kick. I’ve read the original Frank Herbert series for the fist time in my teenage years at a librarian's recommendation, and some of the prequels in my late 20s, but I’m now going through the whole series in story-chronological order. I’m currently on "The Battle of Corrin".
What I'm watching
"The Man in the High Castle", and when I don't feel guilty about streaming, I watch K-comedies on Netflix, but also more serious stuff like "Dark Winds".
What I'm building
A custom Obsidian plugin and a custom Astro companion integration to make my life easier and my workflow smoother. I hit a few snags with the content architecture - the sheer amount of content will be quite a challenge for Obsidian and my computer... but I'm determined to make it work... somehow. But since I'm a bit under the weather and I'm frustrated, I redesigned this site cause I got bored of the old one. So here we are.
What I'm gardening
Barely anything. It's cold as F during the night, even though we're already in May. But the cleaning of the garden is going well, after the years of neglect due to corporate enslavement and subsequent repeated burnouts.
What I'm being creative with
Not that much, really. Not enough time in the day. But I draw every now and then, I take photos during my walks. I also started learning to paint, but it's a slow process and I'm not sure if I'll ever be good at it. But it's fun, and that's what matters. The dishes I cook have gotten more creative. That's not always a good thing though.
